Definition:
Refractory Mud is also known as fire clay or seam material (powder). Used as the jointing material of refractory products masonry. According to the material, it can be divided into clay, high aluminum, silicon and magnesium refractory mud, etc.
Refractory Mud base stock is hard chamotte, combined with soft fire clay or chemical bond, mainly used in blast furnace, hot-blast furnace, coking furnace, soaking pit furnace, heat exchange, boiler and furnace seam and repair constructed by fire clay bricks.
Fire clay refractory mortar is of high fire resistance, strong glass erosion resistance, good operational performance, strong bonding property, good water retaining property & workability and without sediment by making into slurry. Its combination with ceramic under high temperature improves all properties further. High packing density and less water consumption make compact structure of brickwork.
