Light Weight Insulating Silica Brick Refractory Brick Mullite for Thermal Insulation 0.8-1.2 G/cm3 refer to heat-insulating refractory products made of silica as the main raw material and with an SiO2 content of not less than 91%. In addition to the thermal insulation properties of Insulating silica bricks, Light Weight Insulating Silica Brick Refractory Brick Mullite for Thermal Insulation 0.8-1.2 G/cm3 maintains the characteristics of silicon bricks to a large extent. The starting temperature of load softening is high, and the volume expands slightly during the heating process, which enhances the integrity of the kiln. The manufacture of siliceous Insulating silica bricks uses finely pulverized silica as the raw material, adding part of the waste silica bricks or waste siliceous Insulating silica bricks powder, mineralizers and burnout additives. Add water to the mixer according to a certain proportion to mix into a mud, which is formed by mechanical or manual molding. After the brick is dried, the residual moisture is less than 0.5% before it can be loaded into the kiln. In order to prevent the violent volume expansion due to the polycrystalline transformation of SiO2, causing cracks in the product, a slower temperature rise and fall speed are required during firing.

It is made of refractory clay clinker as raw material, plastic clay as binder, adding appropriate amount of combustible or foaming agent, forming by brick press, and then sintering. The light insulation brick is generally used in the thermal insulation layer of high temperature kilns as thermal insulation material.

Application:
Alumina Silica Checker Fire Brick is mainly used for the partition of coking chamber and combustor of coke making furnace, regenerator chamber and cinder chamber of steelmaking open hearth furnace, soaking pit, refractory material of glass melting furnace and sintering furnace of ceramics and other kiln vault and other load-bearing parts.
It is also used for high temperature load bearing parts of hot blast furnace and acid open hearth furnace top.
