Definition:
High alumina andalusite fused mullite refractory brick is a kind of refractory material. The main component of this refractory brick is Al2O3.
Due to different resources, national standards are not completely consistent. For example, European countries specify a lower limit of 42% for Al2O3 in high aluminum refractories.
In China, the Al2O3 content of high alumina bricks is usually divided into three grades: I etc.-Al2O3 content> 75%; II etc.-Al2O3 content is 60~75%. III etc.-Al2O3 content is 48-60%.
Low creep high alumina refractory brick is a neutral refractory with an alumina content of over 48%.
It is formed by firing alumina and other raw materials with high alumina contents. High thermal stability, fire resistance above 1770℃. It has excellent slag resistance and is used for the lining of electric furnaces for steelmaking, glass melting furnaces, cement rotary furnaces, etc.
High load soft low creep high alumina brick is a high quality refractory made from super grade alumina, fused corundum and fused mullite as the main raw materials.
