Successful Completion of Pelletizing Shaft Furnace of a Fujian Project

  On March 12, the rectangular high-quality pelletizing shaft furnace with an annual output of 800,000 tons of a certain steel company in Fujian was successfully completed, and the project was carried out by Zhengzhou Annec using the general contracting mode of integrated supply of refractory materials + construction of refractory materials. This project is another high-quality project after the successful cooperation between the two sides in the key project of hot blast stove of blast furnace, which is of great significance to the customer in realizing energy saving and emission reduction, and improving quality and efficiency.

  With the continuous progress of iron and steel industry technology, the requirements of blast furnace on the particle size, strength, chemical composition and smelting characteristics of raw materials for ironmaking are becoming more and more stringent. As a high-quality blast furnace charge, pelletized ore has the advantages of high iron taste, good strength, even particle size, less powder, easy to restore in the blast furnace, etc., which can make the blast furnace achieve the purpose of increasing production, saving coke and improving economic efficiency.

  During the production process of the shaft furnace, it is necessary to stop and start the furnace frequently, which has a great impact on the refractory masonry, and the combustion chamber is very easy to be damaged; at the same time, the air guide wall becomes another weak link of the blast furnace because it is subjected to the high temperature and high pressure, the scouring and abrasion of the dust-containing gas flow, and the pressure measurement from the charge. Annec's technical team has formulated complete production control measures for air guide wall bricks from raw material selection, process optimization and product pilot test. The production system actively overcame the problems of large weight per unit, high difficulty in molding, and high difficulty in sintering, and completed the delivery on time with good quality and quantity.
